A Complete Picture: Westminster Canterbury
See how TheWorxHob modules help Westminster Canterbury keep their staff operating efficiently to meet the needs of their residents and community.
There's a lot of information built into the system if you know how to extract it. My name is Derek Oliver. I'm the director of facility services at Westminster Canterbury in Richmond, Virginia. We are a continuing care retirement community. We have about nine hundred residents, about six hundred plus employees. We have about sixty five acres of property. We probably process about two thousand five hundred work orders a month. We have the different modules and engineering, housekeeping, transportation, landscaping. We've got the WorksIQ and we also do energy manager with Bryton. We've been with Worksub now for over ten years. Everything is based off of Worksub. All of our work orders come in. We run our pulse, our timers, so we can track our employees, make sure they're productive and that type of thing, and we utilize that as well with our residents and their satisfaction. I manage a lot of people and a lot of properties, so I need to know that we're being functional and doing our jobs correctly and everything. So I can go in there and manage and do an overview and find out what our team's been doing. We can trend. It helps support our equipment change out, you know, our capital programs. We track the number of work orders that we do monthly. We recruit the type of employees that help support resolving those types of work orders. So the return on investment, I think, has been very good. Energy management, I think, is gonna give us a good return on investment. This generation wants a lot of information about sustainability and how are you managing your utility spend. So that's a big tool for us. We have high hopes for that. We've been very satisfied. And, we work with a lot of great people, and, we feel very supported. So I thank you for what you do.
