Calming the Chaos: Presbyterian Senior Living
See how Brightly Software helps Presbyterian Senior Living manage the invisible, yet essential, workload of their facilities and functions as an invaluable resource to their continuing care community.
Our staff, their role is to be a ship of calm in a sea of chaos. My name is Casey Jones. I'm with Presbyterian Senior Living out of Pennsylvania, and I'm their corporate director of environmental services and plant operations. We operate what is called continuing care retirement communities. We have communities in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and Ohio. We provide the full scale of of living environment from independent living to assisted living to personal care to skilled nursing centers. We use the WorkSub platform because it's centric to senior living. Every morning, staff will go in and the work orders are balanced between preventive maintenance, on demand work orders, emergency work orders, and routine work orders. That helps them manage their day. In doing those work orders, we find ways to interact with the residents, the people that ultimately, you know, we lead to and and care for. And the platforms work really well. Historically, this was done on paper or a great big whiteboard behind somebody's desk. With the software that we use, we can build in automatic reminders. It helps us think more about other things than to think about the task of putting data in. Because once the data is in, the system kinda runs itself. The software is another employee that I don't have to necessarily keep an eye on. Our industry, senior living, we are the second highest regulated industry next to the nuclear industry. So there's a lot of regulatory requirements for life safety and inspections. We have all of those things built into the platform to keep us in compliance from a regulatory standpoint. So that's very much invaluable. It's a commitment to us to care for folks. And the provision of care is not just health, but it's also the environment that they live in, the buildings, the structure. When they come to us, we take care of all of that. So Brightly software helps us do the job of maintenance and security and transportation, supplies and inventory, all the things that are kind of back of the house that are invisible to folks but are critical to to just their well-being and their safety. It works very well. The WorksHub platform is phenomenal.
