Learn more about how Brightly solutions helped Waco ISD with efficiency, data driven decisions, and asset investment planning.
Brightly, really brings that type of resource that you can have your bank of history and data, and you can actually apply it to your day to day operations. Brytely, it has empowered us to have those conversations with leadership score is these are the needs that we have. We actually went out in twenty nineteen and did the asset inventory, and that allowed us to really accomplish a lot of things for department, we didn't have a PM department. So this allowed us really to structure a need and to create a department and request the staffing and the funding for it. So we did prove based on the data that we had in the system, the amount of hours that we needed and the staff to sustain that work. We actually started being more proactive than reactive, and it started getting our work orders for the maintenance sound. We started looking at units that needed to be replaced or needed to be repaired before they actually became an issue, allowing us to really not disrupt the classes and really provide a best service. When our superintendent came on board in twenty nineteen, she really had an aggressive plan for the district. She wanted to get craids and proof, and she wanted to pass a bond. Well, twenty twenty came around and COVID hit. We had all the excuses to just say, Hey, Not now, we can just hold on. But we didn't, you know, we push forward. And one of the things that we accomplished was we got a bond that passed And there were a lot of buildings that needed to be replaced, but we had all that data. We had captured in twenty nineteen, and it helped with the bond process and engaging with the community. We actually got it passed. We also did increase our grades, and I really wanna believe that our department had a huge part on that just because we were able to really quickly address issues and the facilities that came up. So we were taking all that distraction from our staff, from our students, and really helping them to really concentrate on what they're there for, improve grades and taking care of kids.
